Beware though, parking is difficult and expensive, about €16 a day iirc.
There are some bad reports of the breakfast on the booking site. Frankly, where we were we didnt even bother with breakfast as it was better to wander into the centre. The staff were very friendly and polite and the place was spotlessly clean. There is a gate and a buzzer on the door for late night returns, so it is also secure unlike some I saw where there was no security
Thanks Mitzyboy and to all the others that answered.

This is great info

Cheers
Jon

Just tried to book RYANAIR from Stansted to Faro. Out and back for £30 each and no taxes. = £60 for two. Very tempting until you add the cost of just one checked in suitcase at £30 = Total £90.

Wait for it. To pay by Visa Debit (from cash in our current account add £19!!) Total £109

That's the last time ever I'll venture onto the RYANAIR website.

Hi and a very warm welcome to you.

This thread on the Spain forum does wander about a bit and also has some contributors who dislike Esuri very strongy without owning property on the urbanisation so on occasion the temperature rises.

Your English is very good so you can be a great help to all of us who are not good with the Spanish language (we should be much much better).

If I could start you off with a question.

The new overarching body for the Urbanisation was formerly constituted at the end of December with the Mayor as the chairman and published some draft average costs. Since about mid-January there has been nothing. What has happened/is happening to this new body?

Warmest Regards,

John.

Haha, talk about a baptism of fire!! The poor guy just said that he is not too confident about his level of English!. This question should make him think a bit.

Oh, and did you mean "formerly" or "formally"? (just to be clear)

Good Evening Bank manager,
With your local knowledge, could you please tell me if there is an emergency medical centre in the Ayamonte area, in case I have to rush a family member there when we are staying in CE??
Many thanks,

Opposite Eroski - used it very efficient A& E - did not have to wait - unbelievable!! Even had someone who was also a patient volunteer to translate because of my limited Spanish. Altogether more pleasant than A&E here but perhaps I was lucky?

No, not lucky. We had exactly the same experience - helpful, seen very quickly and problem identified and remedy given. Must have been in there all of 15 minutes, just like our local A&E!!!!

Also used the emergency medical centre last year for one of my friends who was bitten and was treated both quickly and very well.
"What was she bitten by?" I hear you ask
A snake
Unbelievable... but true.
Luckily turned out to be harmless

I can believe that, we were sitting on the edge of the baby pool, innocently dangling our feet in the water when a small snake wriggled/swam by The lifeguard simply fished it out, just as well as my husband and the Dutch guy sitting near us ran
