With reference to the second golf course, we walked the full 18 holes round the buggy path at the beginning of January, the course looks very close to completion with most of the tees already being in better condition that those on the first course when it opened.

The course looks like a real test of golf, in the words of most stroke savers, "A long straight drive will be well rewarded". There are some challenging approaches across streams or onto raised greens.

Chris (pro at CE) said that the latest estimate from the green keepers was that it would open in April, therefore he said that June is probably realistic. Making sure it was absolutely ready was their priority.

Here are a couple of pics, hope you like them and hope to meet you on the first tee sometime. If I have the layout right, its the first tee, about the 6th Green and the tee shot from the 14th White tees.

Well, I am feeling very chilled out this evening, after a couple of bottles of Valpollacelli, and a few Amorettos. Its my 5?th Birthday today, and we have just had a great night out with the eldest daughter, and her partner. Tomorrow, we fly to CE for a week, so would be delighted to meet anyone who is out at the same time, on the many occasions we expect to be in the bar at the Golf Club. Looking forward to a few games of golf, including the Esuri Pro next Wednesday. Does life get any better than this?
