Hi Carol,
you cannot possibly feel guilty for posting about your boiler. Not at all. It is great that we are all now aware that there is a potential issue with the boilers that Fadesa have used. This is forums at their best. A potential issue arises, a contributer makes people aware, and owners use that information in whichever way they see fit. That cannot be moaning in anyone's opinion. I don't think a separate thread for each issue is warranted, but in the particular case of the owners in Rago 1 who are unhappy about the communal areas, it may be beneficial. Who knows??? PS - The Oracle was a good read this month, so relieved that after all Fortaleza's teasing references, he didn't have a scoop about CE being illegal or such like... Karen Long time no posts! Are you still buying on the Mirrador del Guadiana? 2 years late!! |

I don't think Andy has misunderstood at all. I agree with him and after three years reading and contributing to the Costa Esuri/Ayamonte threads I am also getting a bit hacked off by the implicit criticism and perceived superiority of those who think that the regular readers and contributors to this thread and its predecessors are somehow either stupid or elitist. I do read the other threads and occasionally find items of interest - if I feel the need to post there I will. However, I am an owner at CE and post on this thread to share information with others interested in CE. That is the raison d'etre for having a separate thread dedicated to CE/Ayamonte.
By all means let other people know about the other threads, but the snide and sometimes borderline offensive postings we have recently witnessed are unnecessary. If others want to read and contribute to other threads, that is fine by me. However, if I want to focus on one thread that is of most interest to me, then I would expect others to respect that. When long-time contributors like Andy decide to leave the thread, that is a bad sign. Sam Parky initiated a really useful discussion forum (many thanks Sam) so lets not lose sight of the fact that it can be of great benefit in terms of shared information and a fantastic vehicle for forging relationships. Sorry for the rant - its probably just me having a senior moment. Mike. Of course we would have been really glad if more people in this thread were to post in the Spanish forums as well as in this thread .... that was the whole point of some of the posts as it became clear to us from pm's received that there were people here who actually thought this thread WAS the Spanish forum. So on that note I admit defeat (as I was told that I would do eventually) and leave you to it. I apologise if anyone took offence, but none of it was supposed to. We will just have to exist as separate entities I guess. :( |

Hi All,
Does anyone know how Golf 2 is coming on, when it is likely to open and have they got the temporary club house up yet. Keen to get on this new course and I am sure it will bring more visitors in. John&Lynn |

Now for something completely different...trying to get back to something constructive, that might actually be somewhere near the point of a thread where we share information on Costa Esuri.
With reference to the second golf course, we walked the full 18 holes round the buggy path at the beginning of January, the course looks very close to completion with most of the tees already being in better condition that those on the first course when it opened. The course looks like a real test of golf, in the words of most stroke savers, "A long straight drive will be well rewarded". There are some challenging approaches across streams or onto raised greens. Chris (pro at CE) said that the latest estimate from the green keepers was that it would open in April, therefore he said that June is probably realistic. Making sure it was absolutely ready was their priority. Here are a couple of pics, hope you like them and hope to meet you on the first tee sometime. If I have the layout right, its the first tee, about the 6th Green and the tee shot from the 14th White tees. Mark |

Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE
Some approach shot....water right, water back left... we will have The Colonel descibing it on Sky Sports yet!!!!
My gaf overlooks that first fairway. I am preparing boards to hold up for the tee shots over the stream and reeds... 5.7, 4.6, 6.0!!! |
