Look at www.ups.es book a collection and will be there 24hours later.
You can change to English they can even collect today or tomorrow.
From personal experience DHL is more costly and less reliable.

Thanks - but I think I'll be OK with Correos - I like the way that you can track the item online

except the client didnt have anyone of that name working there.
after 3 days another client in the next town asked us why we had sent him XXX, it took BP another 3 days before they arranged to pick it up and further 2 days to deliver to the correct address.
seems driver had dropped off 5 boxes instead of 4 and no one had counted them, it was only as they started to open them they had a moment of

under the agreement in place we were recompensed the £4.50 delivery charge but very nearly lost a £500k account.

I had a package delivered in UK by Business Post, they told me everything about it, when picked up, when handed on to the hub, what van delivered it, what time delivered, who signed for it.

I once had to send some important documents from Palma, Mallorca to Worthing within 24 hours. I sent them via DHL’s 24 hour service at about £35.
They had to be in Worthing by 10am next morning.
At 10am my solicitor called me to ask where they were. I called DHL and a rather officious sounding lady said that they always arrive within 24 hours but she would look at the tracking system.
The conversation went something like this:-
They left Palma at 11pm yesterday.
Pause.
They arrived in Barcelona at 12.43.
Pause
They arrived at London Heathrow at 2.53 this morning.
Much longer pause
They arrived in Bahrain 10 minutes ago.
At least I got my money back!

I had 2 guys working in the mail room, we spent over £150,000 on mail costs, the most reliable was the little local company we used for same day stuff in the Uk, they seemed to find ways round train derailments, plane crashes, cows in the road, and always delivered earlier than required or expected. Business Post who we used for next day were the worst, but perhaps its the model they use, load a van first thing in the morning for all day, and driver then delivers sometimes in the same street 3 times dependent on the required delivery time of each package. Then they go back again to pick up for the return trip back to the depot.
