You can also buy "seto artificial" which is a green fencing that looks like a hedge for EUR 23.95 for a 3 meter x 1 meter roll (thats not cheap!)

No web page I'm afraid but they are in Denia, Torrevieja, Orihuela costa, Finestraat, Santa Pola, Camposol, San Javier & Oliva
Thanks for all the info everyone. Mitzi the green artificial fencing sounds horrible!!! I am afraid it has to be aesthetically pleasing. I am going to wait until the plants grow and hope that does the trick. I have planted numerous climbers to invade the wire fencing as well, hoping to create a real barrier.
Oleander and Hibiscus backed by Jasmine, Campsis, Bougain. We shall see..
I am so please and surprised by the quality of the garden centres in Spain....I was expecting to find them non existent and disappointing....quite the opposite !!

Hi Poollounger

Don't know where you are buying your plants but do try Vivero Reyes on the Colorado to Conil road. As you leave El Colorado it is (I think) the first one on the right, not much evidence of plants until you park and walk behind the buildings but almost everything there is 7.50 euros, from single to double flowered varieties and all good sized plants, fantastic value!

Susique I have been to them all !! And they all have different selections. I think I went to the one you mention a while back...they decided to deliver then and there and their van followed us home. I think they and Infraplant at the Florin roundabout are very good for plants, though I haven't found the one run by the two women yet. Jardian san Fiacre is very good for pots and gravel and also has some different plants, the one on the left heading for Conil. When are you out again ??
