At least the pc is still working, and is a lot faster since I followed Tim's advice and installed spybot. I'm dubious about going back to factory settings, think I'll wait until we get back to the UK in case something goes horribly wrong 
according to one site i looked at some adware / spyware camoflages itself as this dll, so your spy and adware removals tools may have removed it.
if it is missing it and not in the windoze folder it may be an idea to download it from a dll download site..."msctf.dll download" into google.

I have a Mac as it happens, the skip was ref to the PC, mate I didnt think you'd stoop to the levels of others, I proved I was correct on the two out the three prev posts I believe you refer too, I aint gonna get in to a argument with you becuase I never have or want to have a problem with you mate, The thing with Zel well he was right!

I have a Mac as it happens, the skip was ref to the PC, mate I didnt think you'd stoop to the levels of others, I proved I was correct on the two out the three prev posts I believe you refer too, I aint gonna get in to a argument with you becuase I never have or want to have a problem with you mate, The thing with Zel well he was right!

Man you must have so little going on in your life to remember things like that, because I can assure you, when I speak with Zel, almost every day on Msn, it never comes up.

I took it personally sorry but also becuase I got really pissed off with some people on this forum towards the end of the last year, I came back and some people were ok with that, at the moment I dont have a lot going on with my life its right, im trying to get as much moeny together so I can get out of where I am, at the moment that means no social life, so I find a interest here.

A MBP is the best solution i have been trying to get the FIL to buy one for ages as he use's a 6 yr old PC and he is always complaining its slow...My next puchase as well as a new MBP is a Very nice machine.
