I find a lot of the comparisons daft. 9-5 in the UK is crap but it is anywhere in the world if you have to work. A friend works in Banus 10am-10pm with 2 hours for siesta. If she goes home for lunch she has just time to eat, freshen up and set off back. I would hate to work on the costa in summer when everyone is swimming and sunning...although I would hate a routine job anywhere

For starters I came out with my dad who has been living in Spain on and off for years it's only because he has retired he has made the permanent move now and while I'm staying with him on a "temp" basis I'm looking for my own place in alicante also on a temp basis because in the near future I intend on moving down to estepona where I have many family and friends there and in Marbella who have also been living in Spain for a long while so please don't tell me about grass is greener and hit the ground or whatever and also don't question me about my employment because for your information my business isn't in Spain but I can comfortably run it from Spain.
Sorry if iv offended anybody by telling the gospel truth about England and how it's become not a very nice place to live and praising Spain oops.

Like I said previously I have many family and friends who get on just fine in England and live happy lives I did myself to be fair I have nothing but good people around me in England but that still don't despute the fact that the country has been over run with all sorts and the government just gets walked all over and even the happiest of people will say the same the country gets took for an absolute mug and it's only because most people have children in school or good jobs they said that they wish they could just up an leave England you don't see the Spanish government get the piss took out of them like te English no mate they put there people first end of story and most other countrys infact the uk governments morals are all wrong and you know it. I come from inner city birmingham so I'm going to have a different opinion to somebody who lives in e.g Devon but why would I honour of my way to go and move to Devon that's under the same government I hate when I can just leave the country all together and go and get bet weather ? Lol its only logical. I don't understand why people are chucking there dummies out the pram and defending the shit hole because I know you won't be saying the same thing in 10 years even the most sophisticated people in life will slag England off even though they live there so can you all stop crying xx
I was in Spain for eight years (five years full-time and three years part-time) and returned to live in the UK perrmanently last December, through choice.

Ok I'm 25 I'm a grafter I earn money iv got ambition I ain't loaded that was a sarcastic joke but my ambition is to be loaded I'm good at what I do iv come to Spain to enjoy my life. I'm from Birmingham it's a dump it's full of immigrants who get everything before our own people and it actually pays to sign on the dole rather than work in England now it's a shithole end of I don't care what you say the country is finished in 10 years time it's going to be mainly Muslim do why would I a 25 year old lad want to sit in that everyday I don't have kids I ain't got any responsibility and I'm saying what I think weather you like it or not you don't need to worry about me do ya ? Everything about the way England is run is wrong face facts and if I was to have kids I will not be bringing them up in the dump that England is now. Ok fair enuff people are happy in England many friends of mine and family are happy in England getting on with there own lives fair play to em but everybody is entitled to there opinion and I ain't sitting around back home scratching my arse thinking hmmm I wonder if things will get better in England 1 day cus it ain't it's getting worse. Probably just staggered out of John and Joseph s bar, couple of €2 breakfasts should sort him out.
His penchant for booze will stop him working so he'll be back in blighty, cap in hand before long I would think. I do wish he'd use better English, people like him give Birmingham a bad name...I was born there, its a great place, a true hub of multiculturalism.

gosh darn it!!! I was really enjoying this thread right up until Fred deleted two of the (probably) best yet...
Just kidding but couldn't you have just edited them and at least let me keep up with the whole show. I feel really cheated now
like being at the theatre and the curtain came down too early lol
