I don't think that anybody would condone what Shipman did, but take the beheading of the soldier in Woolwich, Many muslims publicly condoned it but many (one person I know personally) also went along the lines of shrugging there shoulders and saying 'well he is just a soldier' as if although terrible its not that bad a deal.

For once I mostly agree with you. But if the bombers in question had preached I really think they would soon have been picked up by other doctors.

One other sad thing about the Shipman case is; the young woman GP who went to the police because she was worried about the number of death certificates she had to (double sign) for Shipman.
She was laughed at by the police. She later developed breast ca. and did not live to see him convicted.

So you agree that the UK has little to fear from the thousands of doctors from overseas be they Muslims.Sikhs etc etc. which without them the NHS would collapse.

I would hope seriously that doctors are educated enough not to follow the jihad route or be brainwashed by extremism.

I hope that clarifies my position. I have said before its a sad state of affairs that the NHS relies on imports, when we should be training our own but that's for another day.

Someone once said that all our born and bred doctor's are taken lured away by better contracts elsewhere in the world, but why ? why not the immigrant doctors, tell me why are they not lured away if they meet the same standard ?
Are they not as deserving ?
