Its true, €120 a day is hoping for a lot, especially when you first move out here. But there are those that ask it in this area, and get it, especially when they build up a reputation for reliability and good work. Theres loads of people around here that paid little and got crap.

I pay €140 a day for the guy I use. He's a keep fit (karate) nut, and he does twice the amount of work others do in a day to an excellent standard, and thats why I use him. In the long run it's cheaper.

Just placed an add in job centre plus uk Sheffield area for builder, going rate would seem to be £8/10 per hour, if you can get 120e in spain then good luck and get me one aswell

I used to get 600 or 700 a week a few years ago when work was about, but I wouldn`t get anywhere near that a week now if I had to work.

there are guys who will work for less (a lot less) and those that will want more

I would always always recommend to get a quote and pay for a complete job rather than per hour...heard such horror stories about people being ripped off
