as far as I am aware all the games are on terrestrial, however, the England games may well only be on Sky, from memory they sold the rights a few years back, but that may well have run its course.

I'm probably missing the point entirely, but why don't you just open a non residents account (which is easy to do) and switch it to a residents account when you get there. You may have to go with one of the UK banks but might be worth it for a few months at least?
