Default Banks....

Right, I need some advice on banks guys.

I have a Natwest A/C, and an HSBC, which I am about to close for being such arses, we also have a Halifax A/C.

I have read a few times that a Nationwide A/C is a wise choice for an Anglo-Iberian A/C so what do you guys who are there or have on say?

Basically we want to open an account here that can be crossed over simply to Spain when we go.

Halifax apparantly works well with Halifax espana.
I kept HSBC & an internet account in the UK, whilst using www.sun-pay.com to do transfers. It does cost me 10 euros whenever I do it, but I feel I have a bit more control as I'm doing it. Whereas I asked HSBC to transfer a sum direct to my bank account 10 days ago and haven't heard a squeak from them!
My Bank in Spain is SOL Bank. Easy to deal with and very friendly

Well HSBC isn't an option anymore, I use that A/C to pay bills and the amount of time I get crappy letters from service companies to say bills haven't been paid, I have just about had enough, and I had a meeting with the manager last week and he ended up asking me to leave the bank!

Our Halifax A/C is a savings account, do you think that would make a difference?
