I went to Huelva yesterday to see the biggest brotherhood in the province leaving for El Rocio - it was amazing. Everyone looked so beautiful.

Hi Tilly! y buenos dias a todos,
I look forward to hearing about your bus journey!
As the camino is a religious experience for many, it wouldn't seem right somehow to take photos. However (perhaps contradictory), I've been watching the preparations on the "Espana directo" (TVe internacional) program on Sky digital 802. Yes, it it amazing. There's news about the Rocio 2006 in the Huelva informacion website, too: www.huelvainformacion.es

Hola!
Does anyone know if the new El Corte Ingles store or the Hypercor supermarket have opened in Ayamonte? We heard that a new shopping centre was due to open in 2006 and we're just about to furnish our new apartment... (yes, we're very excited)!

The El Corte Ingles store has not opened yet. The nearest one is in Huelva. The commercial Centre is still being built at the moment so I think if it is finished this year it will be late in the year.

Thanks for the info! We may well still make the trip to Huelva - at least it gives us an excuse to look round the market there. It's one of our favourites (especially the fish bit). Have you been there?
