Thanks that was what we were hoping for. I know that a ggod quality paper is really needed. I was thinking of getting a contract with Colttman, I used to deal with them in school, It was better to go direct.
I wanted to get some canvas to and a good range of paints and craft stuff. I even thought of taking the Kangoo back and bringing it back full of stuff. We will see, I am going to be inlisting the help of some of the art teachers I still know and see what deals they have with the companys. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

They are an ideal size to paint on, they often have interesting details on them, interesting aged metal catches and hooks. Some are a little over A4 size, I paint flowers on them, use muted colours as a background, and paint red and white roses, like old style tudor roses, and foliage. I age them by painting them over with wood stain, so they look old masterish...glaze wise not talent wise. They look good and suit old rustic style interiors. They make a great surface to paint on...

oooh they sound lovely! have you got any pics? I'd love to see them!:)

Hi everyone, this is my first post on this forum. I am live near Altea on the costa Blanca and we have 2 art stores there. I am in a group of about 10 - 15 painters that have been meeting for the last 10 years in Moraira at the tennis club. We try different mediums and will spend about 4 weeks on each project. In the last year we have tried reduction lino prints, quick oils using a wet on wet style, inks, pastel portraits, watercolour studies of flowers and whatever else we fancy!! Its great to get out of your "comfort zone" and we all learn from each other. If anyone is interested in joining or visiting us we meet every thursday from 10.30 to 12.30 from September to end of May. we range from ex art teachers, to beginners, some seasonal, some year round. We spend june painting in members gardens.
Cheers Jenny
