Anyone else feeling a bit chilly already?

Firstly blown into the sea and drowned, then washed up on shore to be dried out and done to a turn on the fire in time to make a tasty feast for the bears.
How does that grab you.
Only joking of course,..isn't that right Bil ?
By the way, I hear from our local weather expert/forecaster that we are expecting the worst Winter in a thousand years, so maybe Africa should be the way to go.
Watch out for those Lions though.

I'm sure we could quite easily accomodate your requirements by arranging a combination of all four.

I don't think bears go for takeaways. However in spite of your horrendous forecast, I took my dog for a walk at 6'clock this morning with jogging trousers and a fleece over my flannel pyjamas and to my surprise it was very mild with a gentle warm breeze and a hunter's moon. Not suprisingly I have been nursing a bad head cold for 3 days with all this crazy weather so that may do for me in the end. No plastic flowers please!

in my part of Valencia it gets a bit hot (for me) for maybe a week or so in August - it's not so much the heat though - more the humidity
it does get VERY wet for a few days at a time in the autumn & spring
it rarely feels REALLY cold though - overnight & first thing in the morning it's a bit chilly - but it almost always warms up to around 20 during the day

It has been really nice here during October. Look at the Autumn colours in this bit from the TV the other day.

I know like many of us you have had some really warm weather and for lots of reasons I would love to live in rural Galicia as I have seen some incredibly cheap old stone houses with land and then I watch 'Gente' all year and see that Galicia has the highest rainfall, some terrible floods and forest fires and decide to stay put. If I were younger I would probably go for it but now I would worry about heating costs and power cuts. Here in Valencia it's rarely too hot or too cold and never too wet or too dry. Just perfect really.
With reading that sort of idea I am pleased you accept as true all what you see on TV. I do not.
PS For example; we appeared on a national TV programme, broadcast over the summer, all what was said was a fabrication to make a story out of nothing.

In la Costera where I live July has been hotter than August for the last few years and this year was the hottest ever with temperatures in the low 40's over a period of time instead of just the odd days but it was bearable because it was less humid than usual and we are very sheltered in this tiny village and there is usually a breeze at the swimming pool.

I wonder how Galicia has terrible rainfall and forest fires all at the same time?

no one said the forest fires and the floods were at the same time. I assume that Galicia has twelve months in a year and I don't believe that channel one shows films of flooding, storms with gale force winds and horrendous forest fires which are not true while parts of Galicia are being given national disaster status. I realise that you are in the tourist trade but you can't have your head buried in the sand all the year round.
I do work in the tourist trade but I do not cater for the English speakers only. If I did I would not have survived the first month in Galicia. My Spanish guests know where to go!
