Another Sad Incident

Only the people involved will know the TRUE story, and let's face it whoever the guilty party is they are not going to admit it.

Some of you need to get over yourselves you really do!

Yes, it just goes to show never trust what you read in the papers.
If it happened like it said in the Mallorca paper then it is a tragic incident, both the lives of the victim and the attackers have been ruined in this incident
It shouldnt have happened and the actions of both groups cant be excused, I have to say if I saw people sh*gging prostitutes in front of my portal I cant tell you how I would react, although that is no excuse really

There are children who wont be seeing their father because some coward decided to pick up a baseball bat instead of walk away.

I think the most interesting thing is the difference in stories between the 2 papers. The state of journalism is a real worry of mine, if we cant trust anything we read in the papers then we are unable to form opinions on the world - it "inhibits our freedom" as an American might say.

Very adult of youI feel pity of both sides, I dont side with the British guy just bc he's British. I havent got a clue what happened, hopefully the courts can sort it out
People die every day for all kinds of reasons. Many of them tragic, I am not going to comment on them all and say how sorry I am. That goes without saying

Why does everyone assume that what is printed in a british paper wont be correct but when another version of story is read in a spanish paper then that must be the true version? Surely the story could be misrepresented in the Spanish press as well.....

Spanish Court, Spanish Citizens on trial, English Victim dead. I dont think you would get very good odds on the English Family winning that one.
I would put odds on the remaining English person to get a suspended prison sentence for breaking a few articles under the Spanish penal code.

I dont have sympathy for the guy who hit someone with a stick with such force to kill a man.
I have sympathy for the guy who is not going home to his family. Who for whatever reason was killed.
We all know the papers print incorrect information so to be honest we really dont know if these guys were paying for sex. All i know is it is becoming a very sad world.

You're basically saying there is no justice system in Spain
Anyway, I'm signing off, dont want to upset anyone else with my "sanctimonious" views and I'm fed up with defending myself
I'll let you get on with discussing how crap everything is in Spain and how Spanish people are evil and British-hating. Enjoy!
