Yes.
I've only very recently downloaded the Caixabanksign app. Although I've had confirmation it's operational I think it may be a security issue. I've emailed Caixa to try to get to the bottom of it. Thanks everyone for the helpful responses.

Success! I realised what was stopping the transfer. I was filling the Caixa transfer form in incorrectly by using my name as the beneficiary when I should have been using Wise Europe.
Thanks again for all your help.

Not Caíaxa related but a question re interest on a savings account in Spain with Cajamar, I thought I'd ask here as banking related rather than have a new thread. I have just opened a small savings account with cajamar to use in conjunction with my current account. It pays monthly interest and shows a small amount of the interest is witheld I. R. C.. I am presuming this is witheld for tax. Does that mean on next year's spanish tax return I don't need to mention the interest as its already been taxed at source?

Good question there is Modelo 126 which is withholdings and payments on account.
Not sure if that includes tax taken from interest paid on accounts though.
I would assume that you will need the Bank to give you a certificate of tax paid on interest accrued to send in with your return, because I can bet they will have informed you have such an account.

Ive scrolled through this years return and cant see a box(es) like the version of the Uk one has...
You would have to ask your Gestor or accountant to be honest.....

https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.e...ini/GH06.shtml
This i s the list I found.....

If you get an answer I would be interested to see what it is...

Thanks for the reply. I presumed they deduct 19% of the interest and pay that to the tax man a bit like PAYE in the UK. If that's the case I am happy with that. Thing is I don't want to be telling the gestor to then be taxed again on it if not required. I will try asking the bank first and see what they say as they speak perfect English and one branch in particular I find to be very helpful. If I don't get answer there I will speak with my gestor. Either way I will update on here reply. It won't be a lot of money but I would rather get it right as well as not pay twice. I also do a UK tax return as we rent out a UK property. I have just done next year's tax return for that and completed the savings interest return box which wasn't a big amount and under what one pays tax on. I then thought I've declared all interest to Spain and been taxed on it so really should I be ignoring that box for UK? I think I should but have sent an enquiry to HMRC asking the question. Again I would rather have it right in the first place than have to try and recover money later.
