April 2009 Applications (merged threads)
Yes I know it's still March but our Agent in Aus has told me the application will go in tomorrow. X rays this afternoon. All paperwork supplied so here we are off on the great 457 journey.
And before anyone tells me someone in Oz could be doing my job - nope. They looked. For 6 months. And as for being screwed on a low wage - market rate plus.
For those of you who are of a more positive outlook, who's going to be next on this list!!

Hiya, we are just waiting for my husbands Vetassess results then we can submit our visa app. we have been waiting 5 weeks so hopefully not much longer.
We are applying for a 176 relative sponsored so im not expecting a quick turn around, im not even banking on anything happening within the next 12 months but at least the application will be in.
It has taken us so many years to get to this point there is nothing that can happen now to stop us applying.
Regardless on when Australia, we are coming!!!

My application was lodged on monday, 30/03 and meds were taken on 28/03. It'll still take a couple of weeks for meds to be sent. I'm expecting my 457 to be ready soon since my starting date is 18/05.

I mailed applications 2 days ago on 2 Apr 09 to Parramatta office. I have been checking my email religiously hoping I see an initial response from them.

We are now official members - we submitted our application last night, i know we could be still sat sitting this time next year but just getting to this stage is an achievement, it's taken us 5/6 years to get ourselves organised and now here we are.
