The CSL contains occupations that have been identified as being in critical demand in Australia. As these occupations are in critical demand, applicants nominating these occupations will have their applications processed as a priority.

* As per the Adelaide Processing Centre, CSL applicants of 2009 will get CO
by end of May, 09 ( so by June 2009 – beginning )

• The Australia immigration target for this year is 190,300 immigrants. This is 20 per cent higher than the 2007-08 financial year. It is even higher than the previous record intake of 185,099 immigrants in 1969-70.

• The government will announce the final number of immigrants in the lead up to the national budget to be delivered on May 12.

I am in sydney already on 457 visa , working as SAP consultant since 2007 , but employer was not ready to sponser the Parmanent Visa so Filed 175 online , considering the CSL list will be processed a bit faster

ANy body have idea about the timelines after case officer is assigned ?
