Hello All
got a letter today from Immigration just to say that they have my application. Very nice of them I thought
Any way my point is in the letter they said at present visa applications for perth are taking between 5&7 months to process. So back to waiting but this time I have a time frame
It does kind of help.
Anyone else got any news

I am joining the list: Arrived on a 417 WHV and now being sponsored for a 457 by employer, application submitted 8th April.

Visa Approved today 22/04/09 took 10 working days to process but we got there in the end

Hi all we have applied for 175 on the csl as accountant(2011).just got to finnish uploading our docs and then prepare for the long wait.

My partner Dave and I have just lodged our application too. Going to Adelaide on a defacto visa. Lodged by post 16/04/09, assigned a CO on 21/04/09 who asked for a form 80, now just waiting. I think this part is worse than the months spent gathering information!

Good to see a dedicated thread for April 2009 applicants.
Add us to the list too, got my online lodgement done on 27/4/09 for general skilled migration visa type 175. Applying with my wife as dependent.
ACS result:- Profession on MODL (Java professional) + CSL(as per list of 16 march)
Application Programmer with 5+ years experience.
IELTS result:- L-8, R-9, W-7, S-8 (band score 8)
Its been quite some work to come till here, we are now ready to wait for assignment of CO.
Good luck to all, hope to see our cases resolved soon.
