Hi we are in the process of our 175 just done medicals and PCC's which were asked for by our CO. All things going good and fingers crossed the house sells on time we are looking to move to the Sunshine Coast around July 2010

I just wanted to start this thread so I can start talking to other families in the same boat as us who are heading to Oz next year!

If anyone wants to share there timeline, info, dates, what part of Oz etc etc etc... I know that people have there timeline etc already noted on here but the threads and different rooms makes it a nightmare to scroll through

Good luck with all that we are going in april just north of brisbane ipswich have booked air fares with singapore air PR granted 7/5/08 validated 7/11/08 sold two houses and had to get a australian fire arms licence and a import licence for my guns so we are all good to go

Hi We're heading out on the 13th of July tickets booked hoping to go to redland bay area brisbane. Initial 4 week rental in that area. We're a family of 4 with 2 boys aged 2 and 5 when we go. We applied for 175 in april granted november. Only thing to do is sell all our worldly possessions including 2 cars and the house so looks like a busy time for us

Yep we're moving to Brisvegas hopefully September 2010. Visa not granted yet but all docs, PCCs and Meds submitted. Just waiting for the verdict now, but DIAC is slow around holiday season.

We're heading out as soon as we can, all meds and pcc's done, then they asked for more assessments/reports to be done on our son, they were received in Oz on 1st December, so now just waiting..... hubby made redundant and left last Wed, house sold and moving out on 23rd, leaving party 21st, packers here 22nd, so all we need is the visa and away we go. Haven't absolutely decided where yet, but will be looking at Narangba and Sandgate areas. Good Luck everyone with your moves.

Me and kids don't need visa as we have the good old blue passports

Hoping to go to Cleveland area, but job will determine that.

We are heading for outskirts of brissy. Loved ashgrove on our reccy but a no-go for us due to having only the bus journey in. Heard too many horror stories about the traffic - so having a rethink an will prob go north.

Did meds and police checks last week - hopefully all will go well to head over in July.
