They packed our stuff in the middle of Feb in the UK, and we still haven't got it. We were told it'd get to Sydney in April, turned out it only got to Singapore then. It's June now...

sorry to hear that its so frustrating without stuff and having to use make do things. I hope you are settling in now despite the hassle and getting to know sydney. Our kids who are 20 and 22 love it and have settled well.
good luck when they do find it !!!

Well everything arrived yesterday, only four and a half months after it was packed up in the UK. All seems OK apart from a chest of drawers that's seriously damaged but fortunately insured. Now we're wondering why we brought half of it...

Was that 4.5 months intentional on your part? :scared:

No, that was how long it took. They collected it in mid Feb, but as it was a part load it didn't ship until late March. We were told it'd be in Sydney at the start of May, but when that date arrived we were then told that the shipping line had made a mistake and actually the boat was only going to be in Singapore then! So the container was then offloaded from that boat and reloaded onto another boat, which finally got to Sydney at the end of May. It then took another four weeks to clear customs and get delivered to our house.
