Good point , though this is only one flight a day ( always full recently) they have lost others . The biggest loss recently was EXCEL airways group from T1 and also the Travel City Direct USA flights.

There have been issues with BMI and United before. Last year United oversold the seats to ORD and we missed our BMI flight to the UK . Re-booking was a nightmare , neither company talked to each...

The US Airways Philly flight is not too bad , big planes , and a good connection to washington . You just have to pay for everything , drinks , headphones etc...

Our last visitors went to Paris CDG and connected to Washington DC via Air France, so there are options but they do extend the flight times.

The only scheduled routes now from Manchetser to the USA are Altanta with Delta , Newark with Continental , US Airways to Philliadlphia and Virgin to Orlando.( unless i am missing something)...

My Sister flew that route last year , and she said they were flying small 757's . BMI always flew the larger Airbus 330 . That flight and the US Airways to PHL are the only options now i think.

Yes i did Google and saw the same information but i was wondering why the word english rather than side , google was not forcoming with that data.Perhaps the English invented the move :-)

I was just watching pool and what i would have called "left hand side " or "right hand side" when you hit the cue ball they call ' left hand english" or "right hand english".

Does anybody know why...

Florida is good , i never used to frequent the british pubs their when i lived in the UK and went on holiday , but now we take advantage . They must think were crazy as we dive into packs of Quavers...

Thats what the manufacturers call it when you get smaller measures . Smuckers also call it the same for the small breakfast plastic jam packs you get on the table , or the ketchup saschets you get

You are Correct Lays owns Walkers , but that brings me to another thing i am now starting to see , portion control crisp bags..

I used the HSBC in the UK and moved my money to Bank of America . HSBC were really good they told me the account info i needed from BOA and they did it all electronically . I seem to remember it...
