Still amazed at the language gap
Been here nearly 3 years and sometimes i find things that still crack me up . A few weeks ago we went wine tasting to the local Virginia wineries . I picked up a copy of the 2008 events guide. See if you can spot the event on the 12th of July that caught my eye. i scanned in the page as an attachment

A lass from North Carolina Shagged with me and my mate in a pub in Norwich last year. Not only did I have to go second, I was also told that my mate had better rythym and technique than me.
I was naturally shattered.
The Norfolk farmers didn't know what to make of it.
If the Sip 'n' Shag gets out of hand, would it be called a Gulp 'n' Gobble? Having said that, if it doesn't get out of hand, would it still be a Sha...
... I think i'll just drop it.

The other two language differences i came across , my son help me out with .
Eating out i asked for some cuttelry , with a blank look from the server my son said "silverware".
Last christmas i took him to gamestop and asked for a "second hand xbox controller" , again that blank look told me i was in language hell again , my son spoke up "used xbox controller" . You gotta laugh
