Hi all,

Just wanted to thank everyone for the advice on here.

I improved my results and pushed it up to 292 and then the draw came in at 332. A massive 45 point jump.

It now seems unlikely...

Another question.

it says I can get 50 points for a job offer. Does that need to be as an electrician?

As that would put me at 300 points even before I even redo my ielts and eca .

Hi,

Sadly I think it's my age that is dropping the score as we are both 40.

My wife parents were on work visas and her dad declined PR at the time. This was 19 years ago now.

That means it's more likely 274 as my wife did graduate high school in Canada. Feels a little deflating after the effort to get the COQ.

Hi,

I have my certificate of qualification now yes.

In England I only have my High school education, but I am not sure if the certificate of qualification is considered further...
