I'll see if I can apply for credit card as soon as I got my first paycheck. My workplace is near the chinook mall so it is essential to have one :D :D. Happy shopping!

Thanks JAJ! I have no further interest to deal with that agency. I was surprised as it was the first time I heard that line & that it came from an office with a big reputation.

That is probably the same cic officer / agent I was talking to in January. He/she seems to get the information only through e-cas. Try checking e-cas by yourself tomorrow or the next day. I am...

I contacted the call center yesterday morning as the CIC website showed 8 months processing time for application received up to May 16, 2005. There was no update in my e-cas so I was panic :scared:....

:D Thanks. Next Tuesday would be my full 8-month wait. I did not visit e-cas daily, but surely I counted the day everyday since the application was mailed :scared:

Why do you need to log on to e-cas after you have landed? ecas-holic? :D I would think after certain period they 'clean-up' the system once the case is finalized.
