I think so, you're saying this EAC is PART of the documentation/approvals I'll receive through this current process, one is a travel document and one is a green card. Correct?

Ahh ok. Thanks for the response - I'll talk to my lawyer on Monday. Just wanted to ask around here as I couldn't find anything conclusive elsewhere.

Thanks for the response. I received today a letter and a plastic EAC card with my photo etc. The letter with it stated "Your application has been approved... here is your new card".

I filed - well my lawyer did for me - concurrently late July under the EB1 category. I had my biometrics 3 weeks ago and received my EAC today. Thanks a lot for your help.

Thanks for the response. So does a Green card come after this now - ie is this Employment card a temporary thing while they process my green card application, or is this my 'permanent residency'?

I don't know to be honest, it was always tabled as a semi permanent move, so the E2 for 5 years with indefinite renewals seemed best - I'm just guessing though as it wasn't up to me. Its a massive ad...
