Hello, it was slightly over 3 years between end of sentence and applying. Waiver was recommended by embassy but denied by DHS.

I doubt it's as straightforward as they work through cases in sequence per embassy.

Also, I won't be sending my passport in within the 30 day notification, I've spoken with the embassy on that...

Thanks, good luck. It was quite a surprise as I wasn't recommended for a WoI during the interview and hadn't received any communication since that indicated this.

Goof result! I bet the Summer season will lead to longer waits though for those going through the process right now. It seems that 5 years is the de facto decision based on the feedback on here...

Attended Visa interview today in London. Was found inadmissible due to CIMT (gbh). All anticipated and no expectations of a Visa grant.

Glad the consular official has recommended me for a waiver...
