Hmm, I did not get anything automatically - pension company taxed the non-tax free portion at emergency tax rate, I submitted R43 (correctly filled out with the right amount of tax being claimed...

Just following up on this - I got confirmation a few weeks ago from the IRS that my form was sent to HMRC, along with the certificate of residency. Nothing back from HMRC yet so will be chasing them...

Just to update - mortgage got final approval after showing them UK statements with all the last years worth of mortgage payments on them! Fingers crossed for a smooth ride to settlement now! :)
