i transfer my uncles pension from his account in the uk to his account in australia every month. Seems quite simple, just do a simple standing order to the fx company you use, and they will take care...

Large fees and poor exchange rates? But if you are in a rush, i guess you could go that way. There are fx companies out there that will accept charges on the other side, i think only for a small...

just got a comparison anyway... for those that are interested...
at the high of the day... would have been able to get around 1.82 and low 1.8150 ... thats on amounts of around £1500... i guess......

Oh, the only reason i asked for the historic rate, is because the company im using, will give me the rate they would have given me on the date and time... just as a comparison...

If you are thinking about buying a car, most of the time you can get a better deal if you pay there and then in cash... but then again, this wont be with everyone!

Yup definately simpler doing this, you will find that your account manager or broker will deal with everything, especially if you set up a standing order... Ill PM a company which i use if you want...

Most currency companies you will have to send funds to first, so that they have convert it and send it out for you. 3 -5 days is quite long for a transfer though, and i think there are...

There a quite a few currency companies out there, just give it a quick search on google... Ive used a couple, but lately... ive got a decent relationship with one...
