Im really hoping that this compensates for the MODL points.

Its crazy im a health professional under 35 and all of a sudden I lost my eligabilty.

Something has to be reviewed/reworked or there...

Im also planning to apply later this year and lose the 15 points from the MODL situation. This leaves me with 115.

I gather the IELTS will take me back up, but I cant imagine the MODL wont be...

As I am intending to lodge my application later this year (after the CSL/MODL reshuffle); should I carry on along the path gathering the same information as if applying today?

Had a quick read through and my bike isnt so special I cant replace it easily, so I'll probably sell the bike and gear and treat myself to a brand new one once im settled.

Be sad...

I am on the CSL and WAOIDL so that shouldnt be a problem. From what you say I will probably carry on with a 175, since the time scale probably isnt much different.
