I don't know if this is what you are after John it's a virtual SIM. I use Moremins to make UK calls at quite low cost. Never had any issues or problems but I don't know anything about virtual Sims...

Your comment is correct for a British citizen who is resident of Spain entering any other EU country except Spain.

That's more or less my take on it. But a non spanish resident spouse inheriting assets held by a Spanish resident outside of Spain still wouldn't be liable for Spanish inheritance tax on the assets...

Yes exactly what I do for incoming calls from UK, my UK SIM is three which does not require top ups you put £10 on and it lasts untill credit runs out, so next top up could be years down the road....

They definitely don't have an Iban or sort code. As for Spain not having an equivalent to Premium Bonds neither do they have ISAs either Cash or Stocks and shares . I'm sure it's one of those weird...
