There is plenty of coarse fishing in NZ including a coarse fishing club in Chrischurch.

Much coarse fishing gear is also suitable for use in the sea.

The NHS is no less efficient than the NZ system.

...and the strike is not 24 hour....it is for 9 hours and the same tomorrow.

I understand that junior doctors also went on strike in NZ in 1992...

The cost of medical repatriation can cost many tens of thousands of pounds as can a mid air emergency requiring a plane to divert.

Your mother being taken ill in somewhere like Singapore etc....

I used to live a couple of miles fom Matlock Bath.

I would recommend the 'White Peak' as well. Most of the walking in the 'Dark Peak' is pretty strenuous and can be dangerous at times especially...

When we moved to Australia a big part our income was in sterling.

We informed HMRC when we left (possibly filled in some form:confused:) and they informed us that we would no longer be liablaxe...
