Is a requirement to speak french in Kingston?

I know that Ontario has a lot of french speakers and Ottawa is a must if you want to find employment, but is it the same for Kingston?

If I do not speak a word of French would it be hard to find...

Still confused on this. How did you work out 20% or 30% I do not understand how you put 20% on 20k and 30% on another 20k?

In the UK its simple. You pay NI and Income tax and that's it. Simple and...

What do you mean the marginal tax rate is the rate on anything new?

Do you pay the standard 15% federal tax (for upto $40k) plus the provincial tax?

Hi, Thank you for the comments. Bath is too expensive for properties as is Cambridge, and Oxford has problems with yobs and anti-social behavior at night time - watched a documentary a little year...

Did not like it - over hyped. Lovely country side and scenic drives but you can also get that in Britain so hardly a plus. Expensive to live I thought compared to the UK but very good wages in my job...

12 pages is a hell of a lot to go through in one go inst it. I'm guessing the things that people have been saying are lower taxes, space, great scenery, friendly people.
