Demographic seems to be changing on sports here. More people want a 'soccer' stadium built than a CFL one according to recent poll in the local rag. Which is a shame given they are building a CFL one.
I know lots of Canadians who play, including the guys on my street in the park every Sunday. And no, they are not all hyphonated. Premiership is also very popular too.
Might be a class-thing? This is a middle-class town - my impression is that football is seen as a trendy foreign affectation by hockey afficionados.

I'm not gona bother reading the astronomical amount of pages.
Anyone care to summaries what everyone has been saying, id suspect everyone would agree there's more space for example.

12 pages is a hell of a lot to go through in one go inst it. I'm guessing the things that people have been saying are lower taxes, space, great scenery, friendly people.
It would take a long time to go through this thread its massive. 12 pages is a lot to read. If I don't read it all now I'll probably forget about reading the rest. I doubt everyone has read all these 12 pages.
A summary takes a few minutes reading this takes at least a couple of hours.

No I did not say that, stop being silly. I was asking if someone has read it all, could they be kind and summaries it in two minutes. How many 13 page threads do you read.

It seems pretty big here in Ottawa.
Demographic seems to be changing on sports here. More people want a 'soccer' stadium built than a CFL one according to recent poll in the local rag. Which is a shame given they are building a CFL one.

One thing I was surprised about was the growth of rugby at an amateur level too, including among hyphenated canadians.
Can't come soon enough imo. I have no time for CFL (boring!) Hockey's ok but not international enough for my liking.

Hey I'm not lazy and i haven't been arrogant, now your being rude. It's 13 pages it would take me hours to read it all. For all i know it could be useless and boring that why I was polity asking if someone could summaries it. You'd think by the way your acting I was asking for a house to be built. Instead of wasting my time I'm going to read it then be nice and summaries it for others because your obviously a lazy selfish git. I don't expect everyone to read all 13 pages that's ridiculous asking for that.
