Got i140 approved without a job offer just contemplating best way to go for the GC now.

Basic principle of US is that you need to bring some skills to the table they dont have or are very short of e.g medical skills in shortage, IT also but that field is taking a beating at the minute.

those are big groups I was talking about individual offices of a few docs each around ten just around me closed in 2017 and a lot of others were bought out

@morpeth any high risk case a doctor is going to think twice because quite simply the liability involved in this country means that one bad result is career over and that applies to any insurance.

Like wise clearly go read EMTALA law which applies to 'inpatient care' only making any 'in'patient discrimination of care illegal if there was then frankly hospitals could turn people and ambulances...

In an outpatient setting you can refuse I was talking about in patient care where you cannot refuse anyone (!) read my comments first i.e the bit at beginning saying 'inpatient!!' then proceed please...

from my inpatient experience as a clinician i can say that everybody has been treated equally regardless of ability to pay or status (legal or otherwise) it would be highly illegal to do otherwise...

Yeah and statistically you are also most likely to be sued by medicaid patients sad to say so there are also other reasons some wish to steer clear of them they also tend to have complex multi system...

I dont think medical insurance is much better with that regard but dental for sure seems more bunch of cowboys.

Looks like I will get my teeth done next time in Blighty by my mates from dental...

think i was bit peeved as they had full details of my insurance well before that day and they specifically said no co-pay so to go there and they say $100 was tad annoying.

Thank you yes I am isolated here. I havent signed a job yet once I do only then would the GC process start.

I am the most non-$$$ motivated person you could come across so I keep thinking this...
