Depends on your health insurance, but a lot of those "extra services" are often coded wrong and they want you to pay the full whack..

That's a point; if I came back to live in the UK again, I'd be allowed to donate blood! As someone who lived in the UK during the 1980s, they don't want my blood over here..

Now you're talking. On that subject, they used to give you a bottle of Mackeson each day in hospital in England.. can't see that happening in a US hospital.

No why would you have a passport if you've never travelled abroad? I think the percentage is a lot lower than 99%

Seriously though, yes, there is identity theft which could result in scammers getting care on someone else's ID. When the victim or their insurance provider spots this,...

Problem is the waiting lists. In the UK you have to wait a couple of years before your appointment with the death panel comes up, in the US they see you immediately..

.. and, to extend the thought, the United States is getting a free ride, since you won't be consuming the Medicare health care that you paid for while you worked in the US. Meanwhile it doesn't work...
