exactly, and do a good realistic costing of things. Factor in unexpected trips each year to the UK. I had two deaths in the UK while I was in Chch. Very expensive. When so far away from 'home' you...

We don't eat all that fancy things to be honest. We make curries, we make a large batch of a lovely italian sauce. It is based on tomatos, onion, peppers, basil, garlic. We make enough each time...

$70K with a small mortgage would be fine. Comfortable means many different things to different people.

my friend is wonderful actually, my hair was never as nice as it was with her doing it. But at $120 a pop it should have been! Lovely girl, though. Miss her dearly.

Central heating. Must be the most expensive thing in NZ as you really cannot find much of it.

I would wine quite expensive and really did not...
