The bush here has a good scent I must admit but there's something about grassed areas which smells rather like cat pee! I don't think for one minute that's what it is, probably some herb or something?

I'k glad to report that it's about 20 degrees here today. Ok the low cloud (can you get fog this time of year? if so I think that's what it really is) and rain really do make me feel like I'm back...

It's because most Kiwis think that NZ is too warm for it. It's very rare to see a house with any proper heating. It was at the top of our list when looking for a house.

:D Did I say MY house? I think not. My house comforms to current building standards, not only is it properly insulated but it has central heating too! Heat pumps? Bah...wouldn't give them house room!...
