I did not know about monthly reporting but as poor as my Hungarian is I am certain somehow I would mess things up. I will just let them read it and deal with it when it becomes payable via the yellow...

This is the reason I refuse to set up automatic bill payment because you never know how much the catch up bill will be and if the bill is astonomical it could cause your bank account to be emptied....

In regards to the new energy pricing scheme. In our area the gas and power meters are only read once a year but billing is sent monthly and then a catch up bill is sent followed by the next 12 months...

If this is correct than my electric bill currentl is just under 12,000 forints a month will rise to about 35,000 per month and my gas bill is now 17,000 per month will increase to about 23,500 per...

In light of the current energy situation and winter coming in a few months I am not surprised at this move. I am already frugal with my electricty and gas usage so I doubt I notice much if any...
