Yes providing you meet the requirements to apply at a POE and have proof of spouse being employed in that class of job and copy of her work permit etc.

Not exactly. If a person arrives on the IEC then that person is issued an open work permit with some restrictions. Any spouse/partner is not issued with a work permit on entry. Once the IEC work...

If eligible to apply for a work permit at a port of entry then the work permit is issued within minutes/hours on arrival.
