Fly to Hurghada and stay at El Gouna. it's more 4 or 5 star compared to Sharm's 2 star

How about down near Hurghada in Egypt, you could stay at El Gouna really chilled out resort and also visit Marsa Alam. Bit of diving, fishing and relaxing.

Though it might be boring on your todd.

I wouldn't advise Kashmir, too much drama up there which can suddenly flare up. Not especially dangerous just more of a ball-ache if you get stranded somewhere.
