I am surprised they are alright with her being out of school.

What YR is she?

My brother is 15 (16 in April) he can leave at 16 ...its those years afterwards that will 'benefit' from staying...

I am dealing with a similar situation actually.

I've been given a lot of help to get my children in to school, one will even be kept back :) August birthday.

The UK will be keeping kids in school till 18 also.

They are gradually instigating that plan...
