maybe for blokes they are okay but they are quite difficult with small children... I make my kids empty their bladders before they leave the house because I invariably have to hold J over the damn...

I always wonder about the Italian (and other european states) fixation with bidets... you've got holes in the floors as loos with wee-wees all over them and bits of soggy tissues. Immaculately...

We tend to have daily showers anyway so why would I want to wash those towels and more AND have to do more than dust out the bidet every so often and I've never figured out a bidet anyway really......

I brought some of the Ajax shower power stuff today.... just need to give the shower a good scrub and then squirt away.... :)

Still not sold on the lense idea. My glasses are kind of a part of me...

I really do wish there was something. The worst thing at the mo is going from freezing cold outside to boiling hot cafes/ shops etc. I hate that!! Hope your glasses arrive soon Angeli... did they...

It would be horrendous!! Dh would probably pay for his mother to come to stay every few months :blink: to clean it for him and imply that I'm not doing a very good job :sneaky:

Now he sounds fab Angeli!! Must admit mine will iron, but he won't wash up unless under duress (I'm not in and he needs a cup for a cuppa) and he will not clean the loo. He says it's too disgusting...

We took the dishwasher out to put a working oven in the space as we couldn't remove the other one due to the way the gaspipes for the hob are situated. We didn't really want to mess with gas!! :eek: ...

I agree with the limescale problemos Dave. In Brighton and Hastings (the south downs??!!) the water was very hard. I don't miss it. The water here is soft and I love it. Saves me a fortune on washing...
