After watching him pull out of agreements for no tangible reason, and impose tariffs for no reason other than to make news, (pretty much without notice) you have to wonder how much a deal with him is...

Shave 200 billion off? Are you under the impression that if a new deal isn't signed most trade will simply cease? 200 billion USD is not a drop in any bucket.

Oh, I'd say the United States has quite a bit riding on this. We aren't the only country with a trade dispute with them, and we're closer than China or Europe. Canadian and American industries...

If the US is willing to stop subsidising their dairy farmers then something can be worked out, otherwise it isn't going to happen. We aren't willing to fund over-production and have to dump milk. ...

Yes, as I understand it his tariff on aluminum is hurting them because US manufacturers currently need every ton of aluminum they buy from Canada to maintain production, so in this case it's a tax on...

Until the US can increase their aluminum production capability their manufacturers will still have to buy all the aluminum they currently do from Canada, and it will cost them 10% more. MAGA.
