And people have the time or interest here in Australia towards others? I agree there is more negativity in UK but same applies to much of Europe. Australia does IMO appear often to be somewhat naïve...

London is not the relaxed place it once was where a young Aussie could still experience the vibe, sights and sound even if living twenty Colonials to a household, doing what ever job they could find....

London for a young person was the best in late seventies/early eighties. . Best music. Best street scene in Europe. Plenty of very affordable eating places. People reasonably happy with their lot....

Definitely a very high standard can be achieved in certain countries ,at very reasonable cost. Australian health services are not free. Well perhaps if want to take place in a ever lengthening wait....
