Re: Where have you been today?

You say that every time, I express the virtues living out West. But no matter. Condo sales have declined and no longer earning a six figure plus sum, meaning must get more interest in 'bargain'...

Re: Where have you been today?

Now there's a relief. With a rebuttal likely to cause offense.

Re: Where have you been today?

I suppose cold meat pies made in part from dingo's donger and washed down by watered down Fosters (can that really legally be termed a beer?) may well be the height of what you call a dining out...

Re: Where have you been today?

Nothing ever changed. Petit bourgeois pretensions have never proved to be of much use to me. Don't go much for team sport either, so proletarian cred probably rather low as well. I suppose the free...

Re: Where have you been today?

First swim of the season today. Down at Cottesloe Beach. Brilliant in the water. A fair number present considering the time of year. Hard to beat Perth for weather and beach. Fishing pretty good as...

Re: Where have you been today?

People with lucre pay cash. Only pretenders play pretentious games. ABC is a fine Australian institution that deserves saving from the awful destructive ill named Lib's, whom want to rule out...

Re: Where have you been today?

Have you broken into the mini bar and consumed its contents again so early in the morning, or is it more a 'home consumption' matter? The reality being you should be on bended knees, thanking me for...

Re: Where have you been today?

There's a definite pattern developed here. Money being on your mind every conscious hour awake. I bet you have night mares about it as well. I don't feel for those who rate such a commodity so...

Re: Where have you been today?

You must have looked a 'right wally' back packing in a suit, but there you go, takes all sorts. I guess being somewhat Asia illiterate just further confirms we shouldn't have too high expectations...

Re: Where have you been today?

I lived there way before 1994, but still a good place to kick back with a beer over looking the river on an evening. I guess the 'old' characters that seemed to be plentiful in number have passed on...

Re: Where have you been today?

Well how about that? Malacca was once my honouree 'home town'. I lived out of town but great location. Such friendly people to top it off. Locals back a few decades ago referred to it as 'sleepy...

Re: Where have you been today?

Strawberry fiasco now apparently entrenched in WA as well. Expect some heavily price reduced as a result. Probably lucky to break even some growers depending on discount being given.

Re: Where have you been today?

But life isn't just a monopoly game you should have begin to realise. Sydney booming? A house of cards on quick sand comes to mind. Singers is way in front of Sydney. In location, in business, in...

Re: Where have you been today?

Could have stayed in Sydney almost only venturing to Singers. Although, I admit Singers, out classes Sydney on most all measurements.

Re: Where have you been today?

So how's it going Vasco? (De Gama) I sense the adventure you feel leaving footprints in a place few white men have walked....the exotic intoxication of the East. Or would have been 150 years ago....

Re: Where have you been today?

Hang on, I'll pin a gold star onto a part of your attire. Full of admiration for anyone that confronts their fears and takes a small step to alleviate said fears. A little more time and your adapt...

Re: Where have you been today?

Well being a hop, step and jump away from your self proclaimed, 'armpit of Asia' country, it should hardly come as a suspire some minor inconvenience. With first class public transport, usually not a...

Re: Where have you been today?

Thought OZ was the world's capital for skin cancer. But anyway, while agreeing the tropics are not for everyone, the positives are plenty. Great and affordable food, hardly difficult sleeping with a...

Re: Where have you been today?

Not sure why it should surprise you. For starters costs allow a far greater choice of living options. Warmer weather is better for ancient bones. The chances of a far better social life tops the...
