Either way, no need to carry both. The GC has work permission built-in.

Then they are in a WHOLE HEAP of trouble!! A non-USC should NEVER claim to be a USC, EVER.

My husband is a USC now, but when he was a PR, he carried his GC with him all the time in his wallet. He also made that I-10 to New Mexico road trip several times, and there was a checkpoint every...
