TWP - quick question....

Hi guys,

not been on here for a while but have a quick question regarding TWP. At the bottom of my work permit it states " This does not authorize re-entry".......any-one got any ideas what this...

In Calgary on TWP, AOR Sept 2006 - no letter!!

Hi Guys,

been a while.....too busy working and playing. Here's my situation....

Applied for PR Sept 2006, AOR Sept 29th 2006.
Job offer in Calgary June 2008. Moved to Calgary Nov 2008 on TWP....

thanks for the congrats. Immigration was a doddle at Calgary airport. Ours was a late flight, so airport was quiet, immigration agent was really helpful. I'm guessing Toronto airport won't be...

Hi Tina,

we didn't need police checks for TWP but we had them done and sent them to CHC London with TWP application. TWP approved in 4 weeks....not sure if it made a difference on processing time...

all i submitted to CHC London with my TWP application was a letter of reference from my HR department. It basically stated my name, current job title, length of service and company...

nothing suspicious, just that i spoke to new employer who advised they were going through a "slow period" and work would start to pick up in the new year!!

Yep, 20 years as an engineer at BT (Openreach as it is now). The good ship BT is about to hit the iceberg and join the Titanic, so i thought it was time to man the lifeboats!! Still loving the work...
