TWP - quick question....

Hi guys,

not been on here for a while but have a quick question regarding TWP. At the bottom of my work permit it states " This does not authorize re-entry".......any-one got any ideas what this...

Our daughter is 19, she was adamant that she didn't want to come with us right from the start, when we initially applied for PR, but we still included her on the application form.

thanks for the congrats. Immigration was a doddle at Calgary airport. Ours was a late flight, so airport was quiet, immigration agent was really helpful. I'm guessing Toronto airport won't be...

Hi Tina,

we didn't need police checks for TWP but we had them done and sent them to CHC London with TWP application. TWP approved in 4 weeks....not sure if it made a difference on processing time...

nothing suspicious, just that i spoke to new employer who advised they were going through a "slow period" and work would start to pick up in the new year!!

Yep, 20 years as an engineer at BT (Openreach as it is now). The good ship BT is about to hit the iceberg and join the Titanic, so i thought it was time to man the lifeboats!! Still loving the work...
