Re: Is CO Allocation Delayed for High Risk Countries?

Generally it seems to be fact that HR countries are delayed compared to LR. UK applicants seem to be on the fast track.
However no rule without exception: I'm LR applicant and waiting more than 13...

Re: Current processing times

The system is not fair.
The system is not transparent.
Nobody knows the answers why and based on what they process.
They may have their internal policies based on which they work.
One should be...

Re: AUGUST 2007 Applicants

Hi,

big congratulations. Yes officially you'd need to tell them. I don't think it would have any impact. May be just fly down and make your initial entry.

Please share your timeline with us,...

Re: AUGUST 2007 Applicants

Yes we all feel the same (136 and 138). It seems the August / July 2007 applicants get put behind and may still have to wait long time in order to keep the new system implemented after September well...

Re: AUGUST 2007 Applicants

Doing the same thing. Not less than 4 weeks in between, better about 6 weeks. Calling them normally feels better as they are quite friendly but the result in the end is the same if they say "no you...

Re: Current processing times

So we see a progress from 8th June (Friday) to 11th June (Monday). At least slightly moving again to see it positive. Still long way to go until end of August.

Re: Positive thinking is the need of the hour

Since 1st September 2007 the 136 visa does not exist any more and had been replaced by the 175.
So if they process 175 from November / December, it is somehow the same as if they would process a 136...

Re: Current processing times

There are still hundreds (or thousands) of people sitting with you in the same boat. Even some from June 2007 waiting for CO. The next two months should bring us all (hopefully) CO allocation up to...

Re: Current processing times

The official status email only reflects the very last person in the queue waiting. That's why they say if you are behind that date and haven't got any news for two weeks, you should contact them. In...

Re: AUGUST 2007 Applicants

Checking the statistics of latest CO allocations here on the "beupdate" page, it seems since end of June, almost all resources (=COs) are allocated to post September applications. Not any CO...

Re: paperbased applications thread

Hi, you are not alone. There are some thousand more applications still waiting and sitting in the same boat. HR or LR should not affect the CO assignment. Only afterwards things move differently....

Re: Current processing times

I'm not the DIAC and can not really answer. But as you got the pre-grant letter already it is likely that visa will come out within next days / weeks as you can see from other posts here.

Re: Current processing times

If you have applied after 1st September, there is the light. We can see many visas issued already for September to December applicants. DIAC confirmed that they are working on these visas in parallel...

Re: AUGUST 2007 Applicants

Too good to be true. But in that case, why wouldn't they update the ASPC newsletter accordingly?

Deb, which visa class did you apply for? 136 or other category? Possibly did the guy on the phone...

Unhappy Re: AUGUST 2007 Applicants

I guess most of the members here are from UK. If you think it takes long time, consider that UK applications get processed the most fast of all countries!!!
I'm from Germany and after 10 months...
