so we get free health cover but what we do have to pay for is double/triple the price elsewhere, very very clever move by the alberta government!

yeah from jan this year its free, u still gotta pay for ambulance $375, hospital stays over 7 days, operations, so not a lot free, but u get the gp free.

i would add that children dont have to finish school for the day at 2pm, they can stay on for comedor (lunch) from 2-3.30, then they can go home (coach provided) or stay on until 5pm, doing various...

I can only advise on the Tenerife state schooling, we have 2 private english schools here that follow the uk curriculum, we viewed both. Very rarely do children start in reception and finish...
